letters to Marilyn
with a lot of effort I was dedicated to find fans that could write you their feelings towards you and your music, we love you <3
Dear Marilyn Manson, I cant explain how proud I am of you coming back to the music industry. Your music has always been a big support in my life, since I was little I always fell out of the people around me, I was always called a weirdo and a black sheep, I felt so sad feeling I was alone until I discovered your music, I saw strenght and power and the most important thing, I felt related to your lyrics. I cant explain how much your music has helped me through my worst days but I am proud of saying out loud that you are my favourite artist, with all my love and support.

Dear Marilyn Manson,
I'm a 14-year-old Mexican teenager and I love your music, it's the best thing I've ever heard. Two years ago, it helped me with my depression, not completely, but it helped me in part. Also, your music inspires me to create a band because I want to be like you someday. Maybe I won't be as big or bigger than you, but I want to try it for fun too. I love you, you're the best, my biggest inspiration.
P.S.: I'm that person who sent you messages wishing you a happy Father's Day, knowing you don't have kids.
Sincerely,
Twiggy Diamond
I've always been captivated by your visuals and how you've used photography to convey your persona and the themes in your music. As a photographer, I've drawn so much inspiration from the way you use imagery to tell a story. Your ability to create such striking, sometimes unsettling, yet beautiful visuals has influenced my own work tremendously. Your willingness to explore darker, more avant-garde styles has encouraged me to push my own limits as an artist.
Lina
Dear Marilyn Manson, Words cannot describe how much your music means to me. I love every bit of your music. I love you very much, even though you don't know that I exist. But I'll love you till the day that I die. I do get made fun of for liking you, and your music at school, from bullies, to teachers... but I let it go and keep listening to your music. You've helped me so much in life. My dad has seen you twice once in Denver and once in Alberkerky. He wants me to tell you thank you for putting on an awesome show. You're my idol and I'm very proud of you ♥️. We love you and we stand with you.
Sincerely, Laryssa
Makeup has always been my biggest passion and the means by which I can express myself. I believe that with my Manson's cosplay I'm able to express lots of concepts and emotions and somehow I feel more connected with him.
When I started listening to his music he helped me to think outside the box and he paved the way for my personal growth.
He continues helping me to explore new concepts and idea and with his Art he makes me question myself about pretty much everything. I'll be forever grateful for him, especially for having thought me how much is vital to think for myself and not to be ashamed of being who I am, even if sometimes that means to be left alone.
Dear Marilyn Manson, I found your music when I was in a terrible place in my life. I'd let people hurt and use me because I thought it was the best I could get. Your music helped me stop my cycle. No matter where I am or what I'm doing if I just put my headphones on and play one of your songs, it never fails to help me. I've met so many great friends because of a similar interest in your music. You've helped me figure out who I am as a person. And I can't thank you enough for how much you've helped me. Meeting you was such a pleasure. I hope you see you on tour again soon!!

Dear Marilyn,
I've always been inspired by your unique style, not just musically but visually as well. As a fashion designer, your boldness and willingness to experiment with your look have been a huge influence on my work. You've never been afraid to reinvent yourself and play with different aesthetics, and that level of freedom is something I deeply admire. Your visual legacy in fashion is undeniable, and it's helped me explore my own creativity without fear.
Thank you for constantly inspiring me.
Best,
Carmen
I've wanted to write this letter for a long time, just to let you know how much your work has meant to me. Your music was my gateway into discovering the deeper parts of myself that I had been afraid to explore. I was always drawn to the dark, the strange, and the unconventional, but it wasn't until I found your music that I felt comfortable embracing those parts of myself.
Your fearlessness as an artist and as a person is truly inspiring. You've faced so much criticism and misunderstanding over the years, yet you've always stayed true to your vision and beliefs. That level of integrity is something I deeply admire.
I also want to thank you for being a voice for those of us who feel like outsiders. Growing up, I often felt misunderstood and isolated, but when I found your music, I felt like I had found a community—people who didn't judge but instead celebrated the unique, the broken, and the beautiful.
Your art has been a guiding force in my life, and I just wanted to say thank you for being unapologetically yourself. You've given a voice to those of us who often feel voiceless, and for that, I'm forever grateful.
Lilly
I just wanted to take a moment to express my respect and gratitude for what you've done for the world of art. You've never been afraid to take risks and experiment with your sound and visuals. That level of commitment and creativity is something all artists can aspire to, and it's why I've always admired your work. You've inspired me to keep pushing the boundaries in my own art and stay true to my vision, no matter what anyone says.
Thank you for being an icon.
Best,
Sasha K.
To Marilyn Manson, I cant physically express how much I ADORE your music- I love how unique it is, and how despite your many inspirations, Its unlike anything people have heard before. You've opened so many doors for me, and assisted me on my journey of healing. Most people question my liking for you, but as you said, as long as what we do feels right for us, then we're beautiful. Personally, school didnt go well for me. I ended up dropping out after Year 10, due to mental health issues, which as i mentioned, you helped me heal from for the most part. As lame as it sounds, i wanna work at a stables when i'm older, theres something so therapeutic about it. I want to be like you in terms on intelligence and morals, since im not sure if the rockstar lifestyle is for me. I've been a fan since August 2023, so not that long, but long enough to appreciate you and your art more than ever. Keep doing what you're doing, and dont, for the love of all thats unholy, let anything or anyone stop you.
Sincerely, Lois.
Thank you so much for your music, it has saved me in my lowest moments

I was bullied relentlessly throughout school days for being tall, awkward and goofy with my own sense of style. When I heard Lunchbox it was like my anti- bully anthem and it gave me the strength to fight back and the fact that Manson also had his own kooky style made me feel like I wasn't alone. I was 16 in 96 when I first became a fan. I was at a friend of my sister's house and ACSS was playing. I heard this really gnarly bass riff that got me hooked. That song was Minute of Decay but when the vox kicked in I asked who is this? I must know. He laughed and said Marilyn Manson, you've been missing out kid. So after that I listened to the entire album. Then I discovered Lunchbox after that and it was over, I was now a Mansonite for life. I truly believe like many of us that without Manson and his message, I won't be here.

I used to feel like an outsider all the time, like I didn't belong anywhere. But when I discovered your music, I finally felt like there was someone who understood what I was going through. Your lyrics spoke to all the anger, frustration, and sadness I felt, and knowing that someone else felt the same way made me feel less alone. You helped me get through some of the toughest times of my life, and I will always be thankful for that.

Dear Marilyn Manson, I am glad that you are touring again but sadly this year. I might not be able to go. I was excited because I knew it would be my first MM concert but sadly my mom is not doing too well and she can't work so me and my mom can't go this year I was hoping to get the meet and greet because I wanted to give you a big hug. when I was a teen I went through a lot my autism made me depressed I felt so alone and different which made me not wanna exist but listening to your music and watching your interviews online made me feel less alone in a way, I know I don't know you but I see you as a father figure because your art helped me when I was young. You are my idol and you mean so much to me. I stand with you always and you have my support.

Marilyn Manson has influenced me since I was a kid in so many ways: by his music, above everyting else, by letting me know so many artists that have influenced him first (directors, photographers, other musicians and so on) and by his whole aesthetic image. Endless inspiration for me as a drawer (and an ally in my chronic unfitting to the world as a human being)

Dear Mr. Manson,
This might sound odd coming from a parent, but I wanted to thank you for being a voice for so many young people, including my own son. When he was struggling to fit in and find his identity, your music helped him feel less alone. It was through your lyrics and interviews that he realized it was okay to be different and that he didn't have to conform to society's expectations. Your art gave him a sense of belonging during a time when he felt like an outsider.
Thank you for being a positive influence.
Sincerely,
Rachel S.
I know you've faced a lot of criticism throughout your career, but I wanted to let you know that as a high school teacher, I see the positive impact your music has had on many of my students. Those who feel misunderstood or out of place often gravitate toward your work because it makes them feel seen and validated. Your music speaks to them in ways that other artists don't, and for that, I'm grateful. I've had some deep conversations with students about your lyrics and the issues you tackle, and it's helped me understand them better.

I've been a fan of your work for years, and I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude. Your music, your art, and your unapologetic approach to life have been an inspiration to me. There's a raw honesty in what you do that cuts through the noise of the world, and it resonates deeply with those of us who feel like we don't quite fit into the "norm."
Your songs have helped me through some of the toughest times in my life. Tracks like "The Beautiful People" and "Tourniquet" are not just songs to me; they are anthems of rebellion, self-empowerment, and survival. I admire how you've never been afraid to challenge societal norms and push boundaries, both musically and culturally. You stand as a symbol for individuality and strength, and it means the world to fans like me.
Thank you for your music, your courage, and for always staying true to yourself. You've made a lasting impact on me, and I look forward to whatever you create next. Keep being you.
With admiration, Emma
Dear Marilyn Manson, I would first like to start this off by saying I hope you understand how important you are to so many people, you've not only helped many people, but you've altered the ways of their lives. Your music is what I turn to when things get too hard, it's something I can listen to and relate to, I always manage to get lost in the words. Another thing I would like to mention is how proud you make so many people, life has continuously cut you down but yet you always get back up. At the end of the day I will always stand by you. I may not know you personally, or even at all for that matter; but I do have enough common sense to see the things that others may not. I hope touring is going well currently, and you've got this. Fuck anyone else who says otherwise. Keep pushing and don't stop being you. Words can't explain how much you mean to me and many others.
Much love
-Jasper
Dear Marilyn Manson, my name is dorka-regina. Im a heavily disabled teenager w tourettes, noice sensitivity and other issues, from Hungary. When I discovered your music, I felt like everything get's better. Watching your interviews are like free therapy to me, and one day, I hope when I overcome my issues, I hope I can come to one of your concerts. You deserve the world for helping so many teenagers/adults. You are truly the best. You're my favourite artist, my father figure. Thank you for everything. Much love
Dorka-Regina
I don't remember when I first discovered you but I remember you always being apart of my life from the time I turn 12 you where like a forbidden fruit to me somebody that was different I grew up in a Catholic Church with conservative Fox News watching grandparents who believe everything that trump says I in fact did not instead of being afraid of the things that are dark or different I was drawn to them and fascinated with them I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when I was 17 and felt crazy misunderstood and alone then I discovered you and I felt understood I found someone who was more then just a musician you became someone who makes me feel comfort thank you for everything, I didn't start to listen to your music until a few years ago but you as a person always had influence to me, thanks.

I hope this message finds you well. I've been following your work for a long time, and I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much your art means to me. Your music and presence have always felt like a beacon of authenticity in a world that often feels fake or conformist. You've helped so many people, including me, realize that it's okay to be different and that our darkness can be as beautiful as our light.
Your lyrics have this incredible way of making people think while also expressing emotions that sometimes feel impossible to describe. "Mechanical Animals" remains one of my favorite albums of all time—it's a masterpiece that has gotten me through more sleepless nights than I can count.
Thank you for your boldness, your creativity, and your willingness to speak out, even when it's uncomfortable or controversial. You've had an incredible influence on my life, and I know there are countless others who feel the same.
Stay wild, stay weird, and know that your fans are behind you.
Jakson
I've been listening to your music since I was 16, and I just wanted to say thank you. Your work has always been there for me, especially during some dark times. You gave me the courage to embrace who I am, no matter how weird or different I felt from everyone else. I appreciate how you've always pushed boundaries and challenged society's norms. Your authenticity and fearlessness have inspired me, and I just wanted to let you know that your art has made a huge impact on my life.
